“I’ve been dreaming about lizards for more than the past two years and don’t have any clue about what it means. It gives me such a fright and im always freaked out to see lizards in real life too. I just see lizards here and there or myself running away from them in differnt situations. Could you please tell me what does that point to?”

Interpretation

Any lizards or reptiles in a dream symbolize fear.  If you find yourself running away from a lizard this represents your inability to confront your fears.

Running away from anything in a dream symbolizes your inability to confront or overcome issues that are bothering you.

A dream like this suggests that you need to start standing up to fear whenever you feel it, or to speak to someone about them so that you can begin a process of trying figure out how to face them.

“I have dreams regularly about a man chasing after me. Each dream is a different man. They are either trying to hurt me or hold me hostage. ”

Interpretation

Any dream where you are being chased symbolizes your inability to confront or overcome a problem like a fear, desire, or guilt, or a problematic situation.

You keep seeing different men chasing you probably because your problem keeps changing in some way.  Different people or situations may keep forcing you to deal with your problem, or perhaps your keep changing something about your problem in an attempt to feel better about it while still never confronting it for real.

A dream like this is trying to get you to speak to someone about your problems so you can find a way to gain the support or resources to face them or get them out in the open.

The Dream

“i was with my highschool friends and when we got back from our place, evryone turned into zombies, so we run and find this big place where we can hide, while slowly zombies are dominating the city.In my dream its like we are chased by zombies.”

Interpretation

To see or dream that you are a zombie suggests that you have personality traits that are unthinking, automatic, and sacrificed to negative habits.  Zombies are often symbols for things you do that are totally motivated by fear, desire, lust, or caring what someone else thinks. Someone or something else is influencing and controlling your decision making.  A zombie is a common symbol for someones experiencing strong peer pressure.

Cities in dreams symbolize social interaction between people.

If you case you are trying to avoid the zombies in the city by hiding.  This sounds like you are intelligently trying to avoid giving in to peer pressure and are hoping for it to pass.

In this post I’ll be interpreting a dream from a visitor that is about the end of the world.  A very common dream for people who are emotional about uncertainty and big changes in their lives.

The Dream

“so i had this crazy dream , it was like a 2012 type thing where these alien robot things had taken over earth. they were killing/ capturing all humans they could find then my dream flashed to what looked like something our of that show on discovery channel(i belive thats right) called “The Colony”. it creepy. then this loud buzzerd type noise went and we all started running towards this old kind of underground “safe house” but the door/window things had to be held shut by all us so and there were maybe 5 of thedoors so we had to hold them shut till they were gone but while we were waiting for the “buggers” (thats what we called them) to go this random phone started ringing next to me, it was LOUD and i wasnt sure whether to pick it up, disconect it, or let it ring. if i answered it could be a trap from the buggers and they would know we were inside, if i didnt it could have been an important call for help or rescue but if i disconnected it they buggers would know we were there. so i let it ring. finally they were gone and we walked out side to find a huge portion of the city covered by an insanly tall wall. we didnt see any other humans… someone found achainsaw so they climbed up the wall and cut the power lines incase they called the phone again. my dream flashed to some other confusing part which i might describe later but this is long enough already…it was scary cause i was running toward that house with my 6yearold brother and i was scared he couldnt keep up….my other family members were no where to be found.”

Interpretation

The end of the world scenario is a symbol message about  fundamental change to your ways of being and thinking. It symbolizes your thoughts or feelings about a dramatic change or situation in life where you don’t know what to do.  You may be experiencing anxiety for the future, and there may be a lot of changes, good or bad, that confuse or frustrate you.  The dream may indicate the end of one kind of lifestyle and the beginning of another.

The alien robots that are taking over the world are symbolic of powerful thoughts and emotions that are controlling your decisions in a way that is automatic and totally regimented.  Something in your life “must be done” or is being carried out or dealt with with little room for compromise.  They are alien to symbolize a situation that is unusual and or not something you are used to dealing with or thinking.

Houses in dreams almost always symbolize the mind.  You running to a safe house to escape these aliens robots represents your attempt mentally and emotionally to escape this uncomfortable life situation.  An attempt to find balance or security and shielld yourself emotionally.

To dream of a chainsaw represents insensitive thoughts or emotions in a waking life situation where there is complete disregard, no remorse, and little concern for others feelings or well being. A chain saw symbolizes wanton, blatant decisions, or uncaring forcefulness.

If someone in the dream cuts power lines or phone lines with a chainsaw it symbolizes some aspect of your personality that is helping you to make a rash decision or have total disregard for something in your life in order to preserve itself.  You are trying to cut something off for good, or to some aspect of your personality and aren’t concerned about what it takes to do ensure that it is.

The whole dream is reflecting your emotional state during a time of change, or confusion as well as your attempts to handle it and emotionally protect yourself.
