Dreams Of Red Eyes

The Dream

“I had read about the idea of red eyes being about memories of people in dreams, but it wasn’t mentioned if the red eye aspect was demonic… Because in my dream there was like a demon type presence and all around me had prominent red eyes. Creepy. Any ideas?”

The Interpretation

Red eyes in a dream symbolize a negative outlook. Whoever or whatever has the red eyes symbolizes an aspect of your personality that is seeing things in a negative way. A dream with demons with red eyes most likely represents a negative aspect of your personality such as fears, desires for things you can’t have, hate, guilt, jealousy, or anything that may torment you or cause problems in your life. It could even be related to issues from your past that are still effecting you.

The Dream That Ended My Engagement

The Dream

“I just want to share this dream that i could use some help with, or an interpretation of it. My Fiancee had a dream about her 4 or 5 years down the road, at home. She has a baby with her and runs into a couple of friends they ask her how she’s doing and she says that she is moving back for good. She called off our engagement for this dream. Thinks to know about her, she hadn’t been sleeping good, we seemed to be arguing more then usual, she has been under alot of stress and she taught herself to not remember her dreams growing up because of the numerous nightmares she had. So she felt it was significant that she remembered this dream. As of now we are talking but she has called off everything.”

The Interpretation

It would appear that the dream is reflecting her decision to leave you. So she may simply be using the dream as an excuse.

The baby probably symbolizes the problem in her life of having to care about changing her life back to what it was before you were in it.

Where we live in a dream represents what we feel is normal.  A decision or state of mind that we are “living with.”   If she decided to “move back for good” than this may symbolize her decision to change her mind permanently about your relationship.

Why Are My Lucid Dreams Boring?

Question

“I have lucid dreams quiet often.I see myself in the dream like I’m watching a movie.I’m always aware that I’m dreaming. The times i don’t have lucid dreams are crazy and magical like i can fly or run on the bottom of the ocean. But my lucid dreams are just regular life memory’s or what I’d like to happen in the future?”

Response

The mundane quality of the dreams is more of a reflection of your current waking life.  There may not being any significant confrontations with issues or exciting events happening.

If you want to see your lucid dreams improve I would suggest that you begin to confront issues, stand up to fears, or try to improve yourself in some way. It will be reflected in your dreams, I promise.  On top of this I would suggest you see dreaming more as an educational tool then as an entertainment device. Try to see how the symbolism applies to your waking life so that you are gain insight into how you think.

Dream Of A White Crocodile On A Bridge

Background Information

The dreamer has had dramatic relationship troubles with her daughter and husband.  Her daughter has abruptly left her and isn’t speaking to her.

The Dream

“I was going toward the backdoor of a house. In order to get in the door I had to cross over a small wood bridge. As I walked over the bridge I heard noise under the bridge. I yelled back to the folks that were outside about the noise and they said don’t worry just go in. I didn’t believe them so I looked again and again and then I saw an Alligator swim past the bridge and into a tunnel under the house. I dared the Alligator to come out. To my surprise it did come out and it was a pretty big White Alligator that came out from under the bridge and started running towards me. I ran far enough away where I could stand back and look. I was with some people who said not to worry he wont come any further but I tried to convince them that it will. They tried to convince me it wouldn’t come any further. The last thing I remember is that the Alligator was perched on the slope by the bridge looking at us. ( I dont know who the people but in the dream I knew them)”

The Interpretation

Alligators symbolize powerful fears we have.  A white crocodile symbolizes a fear that is balanced or based on good intentions.  A bridge is a transition in your life.

Based on the information you’ve provided , the dream appears to reflect a change in the state of your life with your relationships. The powerful fear is most likely your fear for your daughter. Your good intentions for her are reflected by the white color of crocodile, but you may be terrified for her wellbeing and safety.

The crocodile sits on the bridge to represent the lingering fear for her that you have as you move on with your life.
